What is Pilates?

Pilates is an exercise method pioneered by Joseph Pilates that concentrates on developing flexibility, endurance and strength without building muscle bulk. Overall posture is improved and joints function
with less stress.

STOTT PILATES is an anatomically based approach to the original method. It incorporates modern science and rehabilitation principles
and eliminates contraindicated movements. The focus is on neutral alignment of the spine, core stability and mobility of the arms and
legs. A variety of highly effective exercises can be performed either
using the body weight as resistance or by using specialist pilates
machinery.
